98 days, that is what it took me to travel around the world. Stavanger-Oslo, Oslo-Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur-Hong Kong, Hong Kong-Chicago, Chicago-Houston, Houston-Chicago, Chicago-Copenhagen, Copenhagen-Stavanger. On one day, I saw 2 sunrises and 2 sunsets on the same day. I even got jet-lagged so bad that my body wakes up at night and sleeps in the day for nearly 3 weeks.
But it doesnt matter, I did it. It wasnt all that, those 98 days were also filled with such joy and fun. I got back to my graduation when the odds were not looking too well only a month before, got my scuba diving license after 2 years of only dreaming about it. I enjoyed the luxury of a Golden Class seat aboard a Malaysian Airlines 747 which lasted a short 12 hours. Went to a MLB and a NBA match. Got myself onto a plane and jumping out of it twice. Went mad shopping for 10 hours in San Marcos, Texas. Drove a convertible in a Houston Freeway, learned some Spanish, ate some good food, met some really cool people. I felt like life has really shown me what i can do. And i am very proud of that.
However, the highlight of these 98 days were meeting the most exciting and great people in the ENG-1 class in Houston. I could say, there were 14 different nationalities in the class, over 15 different spoken languages and 23 different personalities. It was a real pleasure to be in class with these guys.

Hopefully when we meet again, it will be in the same spirit in which we left Houston.
Salut!
